One last push to PostNuke .8
The development team have scheduled one more bug fix weekend to eliminate the final bugs in the bug tracker before we release .8 final. The date is this weekend - the 29th and 30th of March. A Skype chat will be created, and developers and testers alike are invited and encouraged to participate in the weekend.
Bug fix weekends create a collaborative environment in which both those who can code, and those who are simply users of PostNuke work together to find, fix and test for bugs. The last weekends have fixed over a hundred bugs, both large and small between them. A similar effort this week will lead to the final release of PostNuke .8.
So, we invite you to join us. Further articles detailing precisely how to take part will be published over the weekend, however in the meantime please consider joining the international PostNuke chat - contact Steffen via private message for further details

Also, please anyone who is having login AuthKey issues with there development sites, please contact me via PM, we are trying to gather as much information as possible about this issue in particular. You do not need be a debugger or programmer, as the more sites we can find with the issue, hopefully the easier it will be to isolate and squash this bug.
You can contact me via PM with information on this bug or add it to the threads in the forum. Also feel free to contact me if you want to be added to the bug fix weekend chat.

Actually this weekend yesterday already started with a bug-fixing TuesdayRegarding the AuthKey issue (or the so called login-loop) I really hope we can collect more data, specially server logs/pn logs would be helpful from those who face it.
@ Pharaoh: You wish for PNphpBB3 might come true with a test version soon, but definitely not before PN 0.8 goes final.
Greetings,
Chris

All you need for helping us during the weekend is the most recent checkout of .8 (please no RC3 as we fixed some bugs since its release), some spare time and some creativity for finding bugs and glitches - or, even better, you supply patches to solve them.5. jaenosjelantru wrote on Mar 31, 2008 at 06:11 PM
