By default, PostNuke is not optimized for SEO, but you can easily customize it in order to increase your rank in the search engine. Indeed, multiples officials and unofficial plugins have been created in order to help you for that purpose.

Note that,

  • i will talk only about intern SEO,
  • this tips can help your SEO, but can not "decrease" your rank (that's not dark SEO)

development The second Bug-Fixing Weekend again showed how much work can be done, when a bunch of people get together. There were about 20 users online in the Skype chat: Part of them fixing bugs and the other part finding new.

development Time and again I read on the forums and here in the comments: "The core/module developers should do this and that. I can't do anything about it - I am not a programmer." There is one thing you should know: Developers love feedback!

development There might have been a time when more people worked on PostNuke and when more modules existed but what I see coming these days is of such great quality that I don't want to have the old days back.

development Currently a lot of you developers out there start working with all the fine stuff in .8 and we already have a bunch of .8-only modules. Very nice modules! But there are two things that makes webmaster's life with your modules hard: You HTML and you CSS.

development Mark West away for holidays and NOC constantly down - what's going on? Due to heavy spam attacks on GForge installations the server broke down every few minutes. Drak was able to shut down the NOC's forums which where rarely used but one of the major points of attack. If you are a project admin - please disable all the stuff you don't need.

But these issues give a false impression of community activity...
