For community.postnuke.com, one of our aims was to improve the information provided in extensions announcements and make it easier to search and filter extensions without getting many results for the same modules, as was the case with the previous news articles system. Unfortunately, this means the extensions database has started from empty - and the content of the extensions database doesn't currently reflect the huge number and variety of modules available for PostNuke.Only you, the module, block, theme and pnRender plugin authors can change this. All we ask is that you spend a few minutes of your time composing a listing for each of your extensions, whether old or new. For those people that have many themes, blocks and modules this can take time but in the long run it's better for you as the author and for the community as the users that we have a pratical and up to date database of extensions for PostNuke.
Submit a module
Submit a theme
Submit a block
Submit a pnRender plugin
Thanks in advance,
Simon Birtwistle

We all have borrowed, enhanced, modified, and otherwise shared themes. Sometimes they need just a little tweek in the stylesheet rather than major changes in the coding.
I'd like to share a site which helps explain stylesheet behaviors, bugs and demos. It even has a page which will generate a stylesheet based on parameters you give it. (ClevaTreva entry)

O.K, so I have an AutoTheme stand-alone verison that I haven't ever formally released, but many are using it to run themes on their sites. What is it?
AutoTheme stand-alone, or just AutoTheme, is the same HTML Theme System that you run on PostNuke. It runs by itself and allows those that want to code a PHP site of their own to use AutoTheme and AutoTheme themes. You get all of the power of AutoTheme, Extras, block control (yes blocks that AutoTheme provides), and more.

yesterday the very well known forum PHPBB was released phpBB v 2.0.9 [full Release-article] phpBB Group are pleased to announce the release of phpBB 2.0.9 the "we should really be spending time on 2.2" Edition. This release had been made to fix a number of security related issues and some bugs. Work continues on 2.2.0 and again we do not plan on further releases of 2.0.x except where critical issues arise. Note that we do not intend dropping support for 2.0.x even after 2.2 is released.
As with previous releases three different packages are available:
-Full Package: Contains entire phpBB2 source and English language package
-Changed Files Only: Contains only those files changed from previous versions of phpBB. Please note this archive contains changed files for each previous release
-Patch Files: Contains patch compatible patches from the previous versions of phpBB.
phpBB is not a PostNuke Module, the fixes in this version will be part of the next release of PNphpBB2

I have been hacking the gnome blogger, and now I am happy to announce that the gnome-blog has been modified to work optimally with PostNuke posting.I had to change the blogger API and add in 2 new parameters :
1. Title - the title of the page
2. HOME TEXT - the text on the home page
I modified the client to allow entry of both! you now have a new text field for the hometext. You can get the modified deb gnome-blogger here in the download section :
Plus this server is running the mod, so you can test the new client on it!
best regards,
mike

Live testing at www.flogitgames.net/proIs one of the sites testing the latest version of pnFlashgames module plus the gamepack.
This is being done because flogit also hosts so it has put over spare space to live test the latest version of pnflashgames module and its addons.
Live testing brings up problems that local testing of modules won,t show up, mainly due to limited scope of operating systems, mysql, PHP, browsers and users machine settings.
Live testing puts module to the test and lets the user respond with their own sets of problems, all helping to build a better module so if you have spare space put it aside to live test a module for a developer and help improve module development as a hole.
It would be a good idea for PostNuke to create a live testing weblinks category for livetesters to place their sites, so users and developers can see a module under stress.
Ok thats it the rest is upto you!
