Caching And Compiling

Both pnRender and Xanthia cache rendered templates. This can prevent the changes you make in Xanthia themes from showing up, unless you adjust settings as follows (at least while you are working on them):

For pnRender - go to the admin->

Checkmark both:
  • Compile check
  • Force compilation

Uncheckmark:
  • Enable caching

Click both:
  • Delete compiled templates
  • Delete cached pages

For Xanthia (Admin -> Xanthia -> Configure Xanthia):

Check both:
  • Check for updated version of templates
  • Force templates recompilation

I followed all your instructions and then refreshed my FF browser and clicked Main Menu > Topics and I'm still getting the original 8 topics, each with the "All Topics" image.

Are you able to see the effects of your code change on http://www.communicatinggrief.org/index.php?name=Topics?

Thanks,

Kerry

Re: "As far as the Topic's Block, I suggested you use
that as left menu." I don't understand what you mean. Should I leave it as it is? (see http://www.communicatinggrief.org/index.php)
