General Requirements

PHP - version 4.1.0 or later
(PostNuke is PHP5 Compatible and can be run with safe_mode on)
MySQL - version 3.23 or later
Recommendations

PHP Configuration
register_globals should be off and magic_quotes_gpc on for added security when using a PostNuke website in conjunction with third party developments. PostNuke itself does not require either of these settings.

Webserver Configuration
We recommend that if you wish to take advantage of the PostNuke ShortURLs technology, making your website URLs more readable (see the feature list for more information) you should use the free Apache webserver, though this is not a requirement.
