Nice work - thanks for the effort that you obviously put into this!

This looks really great - on Firefox. As the majority of my site users are using IE, it's not practical for me.

Thanks! I must admit, it took quite awhile to perfect the code.4. Wendell wrote on Mar 07, 2006 at 08:17 PM
It looks fine on IE6 too... I tested it with both Firefox and IE6.

I found two issues while testing in IE6 - which I guess I should submit as bugs, but here they are:1) With IE maximized at 1280x1024, the left-hand light blue column sometimes "wanders" over to be flush left with the screen, and therefore out of line with the rest of the layout. It will sometimes snap back into position randomly, or when I click something.
2) The mouseover effects for the category names are wonky. When I mouse over the category name, it suddenly appears about 4 pts smaller.
Can take screen shots of both issues if you like.

Wow, good catch. For some reason, I'm not seeing this on my home computer (the one I used to create the theme), but I *am* seeing it on my work computer. Go figure. I'll look into it and see what I can do. Thanks for checking it out!7. mhalbrook wrote on Mar 08, 2006 at 08:09 AM
The right column is problematic for me in FireFox, it goes on top of input forms. I need to go through and see if I can take the right column out of everything but the main page anyway as I never have liked having right or Center blocks on other pages in general.

looks nice and clean, but crossbrowser-compatibility is lacking. In Opera the site stretches downwards far longer than necessary, probably because of the weird "#wrapper .column" entries.

Hi Wendell,It's the left column that has migrated to center on Safari 1.2. On the discontinued, and somewhat irrelevant, Mac IE 5.2.3 the theme is "completely" detroyed! Lookin' "groovy" on Firefox 1.5 and Opera 8.51.

I think it it's sexy. Simple, clean and easy to read. Bugs is as bugs do..it's the nature of things.. to be expected. to find and destroy them will only make you better. great job Wendell. kudos.

Thanks IR! I think I squashed most of them.12. Wendell wrote on Mar 09, 2006 at 05:33 AM
I think I took care of the bugs. Check out the demo in the link above and check it out. Please let me know if it looks okay and I'll re-package the files for download.13. schlimm wrote on Mar 24, 2006 at 09:22 AM
Any idea when we can expect the repackaged version? It seems like the bugs are out in the demo. It looks great.

I will attempt to release it this weekend. I've been awfully busy with paid work, so the free stuff got temporarily postponed.15. Wendell wrote on Mar 25, 2006 at 07:21 PM
Due to good responses about recent changes since the 1.0 release, version 1.1 is now available via the original link above.Hopefully this now addresses issues with Internet Exploder 6.

I still have a problem, in FireFox, in the Settings area of the admin, the text boxes go under the right blocks.
17. Wendell wrote on Mar 27, 2006 at 10:45 PM
Ok. I'm half tempted to remove the right blocks completely and make it a two-column layout (since the 3-column layout is SO convoluted to make it compatible with IE6). I think I may have tried to go a bit over my head at this point...That said, I'll see what I can do. I'm also thinking about making it work properly for the "good" browsers and make the ie7 module a requirement for IE compatibility.
