Webvida Advanced Theme

By: Lobos (Lobos) 2006.03.30

This theme was actually released awhile back, but for some strange reason it would crash IE. Well now it doesn't...

Always loved that theme.

Glad you could fix it.

I like how there's little blocks sprinkled all over the page... one of these days I'll figure out how to do that. icon_smile

At the risk of sounding redundant, once again another beautiful theme from Webvida!

Any chance of telling the peeps what it was that was crashing IE with the original version? I spent a fair amount of time trying to correct this last year and just plain gave up.

Thanks - have a look in the template files and you will see the block positions - basically you need to set these in the AutoTheme admin as opposed to the normal block admin...

I can't remember off the top of my head, but I do know this - it was totally random, basically it was fixed by removing one of the CSS classes, a class with nothing whatsoever the matter with it...

Allways liked the theme (never saw the problem because IE is just a second choice when a website doesn't accept FF).

Not used yet due to AutoTheme. Any chance of an XTE version?

eolica,

If you like it, you should convert it; if you do't know how, converting a theme is a great place to begin learning how PostNuke works. It's also a relatively safe way to learn. I hope you give it a go...I think you might surprise yourself.
