trever.org Releases tRSSNews Version 2.11-RC1

This is Version 2.11-RC1 of tRSSNews. As with any release candidate, there may be bugs/problems and should be tested before putting into use on a production site. The googlesitemap template code has changed, please see the forums for the updated template code. You will need to regenerate your module list, update/upgrade and activate this module.

If you are using a PHP version less than 4.2.0 then you will need to grab the pninit.php from the CVS Repository at trever.org.There was an issue with a function not being defined until 4.2.0 being used and has been resolved in the CVS version.

Hi:Well, I am unable to upgrade there is a post at the support site. Some kind of error with tables. Also, CNN US news is reporting news date as being 30+ years back.

The install works fine, for some reason some users are having some trouble with the update. I'm working deligently to resolve this manner. Please remember this is only a release candidate and not all issues have been resolved.Shiner

There is a fix for the the upgrade table failing problem in the CVS repository that you can grab at trever.org. Just grab the updated pninit.php. Hopefully this resolves the issues that people are having with update.Trever/Shiner
