Hey all, I'm looking for a slight bit of help with a few things. I hope you all can help, I've been driving myself nuts trying to find these things.

First of all I'm wondering if there is a module for HTML. I've used htmlpages, and sections. I found them to work extremely poorly with search engines. Would there be an alternative?

I'm also looking for a type of block like the main menu and HTML block. Only it'd allow only certain groups to view it. Such as a "my account" block that would appear for logged in users only.

I'm also in desperate need of a NS-NewUser hack. Portalzine had one, but took it down. And the pnc hack doesn't work for my version of PostNuke. I need one that'll allow users to set passwords. Anything else would be gravy.

Thanks so much in advance.

Module for HTML - Have you tried the module Subjects?

Blocks for logged in users - This can be achieved using the permission system.

For an HTML module, I personally use htmlpages and also ContentExpress. htmlpages is quick and easy, while ContentExpress has a ton of features. I suggest giving CE a look and see if it's what you are looking for. It's argueably the most popular third-party module for PostNuke.

For a NEW USER hack, give XUser a look. I haven't used it a whole lot, but it's also very feature rich and may be able to provide what you're looking for.

The search engine problem will only be solved by one of the Simple URL type set ups. The problem isn't the modules persay but the way the PostNuke URLs are created.

Is Simple URL a module by chance?

No, if anything it's usually theme related. I believe ColdRolledSteel has it implemented, or implementable in his themes (http://www.mtrad.com), Shawn has something as well with AutoTheme, don't know if it works with/available with the lite version or not however.
