Receiving the above error on a new installation. I've noticed the posts on here saying it's a problem with MYSQL5 but as far as I can see, my host is 4.0.24.

Hope someone has a simple solution

Please provide more information such as PHP version, server, and what version of PostNuke. At what point are you getting this error? Have you tried clearing out the DB, deleting the PN files, reuploading, and trying the install again?

damn sure I replied to this yesterday but gone awol lol.

well basically I'm using the 0.762 PostNuke, PHP is 4.4.1 and MySQL 4.0.24. It happends just after I create the login with the URL and email address.

I haven't tried deleting and reuploading yet as it's a clean installation.

@genio: try .764 @timson: try .764, additionally mysql 4.0.24 is outdated, i suggest to update to at least 4.1.x (see also MySQL Lifecycle Policy)

Do you think the problem is in MySQL?
