I just upgraded from PHP 4.4.4 to 5.2.1 and I can no longer get to the admin screen on Xanthia,
Does Xanthia support PHP 5?

Sure does... are you using 0.764? There's a session issue with anything earlier than that IIRC.

Ahh that may be it, I think I am on a older version of PN not 764, let me upgrade and see if that fixes it.

Thanks!

In some cases it was enough for people to just replace pnSession.php.

Well I was on PN 760 rl4

So I upgraded to pn764 and I still get a white page on my index...
I am using Xanthia theme, if I use extralight theme it works, also if I go to any other page other then my index page it works, but my index page just shows up white. I have also optimized all my tables including session tables to see if that was the problem..still no go...

see: http://www.pbxinfo.com
working page: http://www.pbxinfo.com/index.php?name=PagEd&topic_id=33&page_id=1159

What could it be? Theme related?

I will give a free fully functional software pbx to anyone who can help! :)

It does sound like it is theme related. What theme are you having a problem with? Is it a customized Xanthia theme or one included in the distro? Does this happen with any other Xanthia themes? If so then there could be something wrong with the Xanthia module, try uploading the files again because some may be corrupted. If other Xanthia themes work then it would seem to be an issue specific to that theme.

I hope that helps.

Just Re-Uploaded Xanthia, uninstalled and reinstalled twice, is there another module I need to check as well, like the PNTEMP, all the Xanthia stuff is in their is empty and clean.

I get a white page when trying to go to Xanthia Admin as well..very odd...I uninstalled just Xanthia, and reuploaded it twice now using PN764, also using both Firefox 2.0 and IE7 I get blank pages...

Also yes, the theme I have is customized one in Xanthia but since I can't get to any themes in there, I don't know what or where to to look... icon_eek

Yes, but you said the ExtraLite theme works -- why don't you choose that as a user then you'll be able to troubleshoot.

The theme works in Extralight but I still can't get to Xanthia's admin center...thus I am back to my original question if Xanthia works on PHP 5.2.1? Vworld, sent you a message via your contact us form. Let me know if you get it.

Thanks

Yes, I have PN 7.6.4 and stock Xanthia running w/ PHP 5.2.1 , running as a module on Apache 2.2.4, with eacellerator.

Have you tried more than one Xanthia theme ?

I am having a similar problem to this, however ExtraLite does not work. My problem is slightly different. After an upgrade from .75 to .764, the only theme that will work is ExtraLite, and the Xanthia module page shows a Blank Page. I have other PostNuke sites working on this same server, so I'm certain it is not an OS/PHP version issue. Anyone got any ideas?

FYI, I tried the instructions here:

http://community.postnuke.com/Wiki-BlankPages.htm

It generated no errors.

Thanks,

I am, however, seeing this in the error_log:

[Thu Dec 06 14:29:16 2007] [error] [client 156.101.1.5] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare smarty_core_load_plugins() (previously declared in /home/popepixal/public_html/ps/html/includes/classes/Smarty/core/core.load_plugins.php:16) in /home/popepixal/public_html/ps/html/includes/classes/Smarty/internals/core.load_plugins.php on line 121, referer: http://www.performancestudies.org/index.php?module=Admin&type=admin&func=adminpanel

Fixed. I deleted and recreated the pnTmp according to these instructions:

Thanks!
