How do you turn PHP 'magic_quotes

Topic:	How do you turn PHP 'magic_quotes_gpc' to off?
gmdistributor Freshman Posts: 33 Posted: 10.Jan 2008 - 04:13	When i uploaded the (PostNuke-0.800-RC2-FULL) i went to the install.php and got a interunal server erro ,fond out that the .htaccess file in the server root was stopping the install PHP so i deleted it and installed fine ,but got the fulling message: (Security Analyzer Warnings PHP 'magic_quotes_gpc' setting is ON, but should be OFF. ) and the .htaccess file that i deleted had something to do with turning it off, but when i uploaded it to server root(main path of my website) had internal server erro port 80 again. So how do you turn 'magic_quotes_gpc' to off?????
