Hello all, So I've designed a site for a client not knowing what their hosting company was. It turns out that this client is using Yahoo Small Business hosting which for the most part works with PostNuke execpt they don't allow .htaccess files. This means for the most part I can't use short URL's which I can live with but what I'm more concerned about is that I can't protect directories with the standard PostNuke .htaccess files in for example pnTemp. What kind of risk am I setting myself up for if I can't convince them to switch hosting. Thanks Jason |

You can move pnTemp outside your webroot, just tell the config.php where you put it. :) -- David Pahl Zikula Support Team |

Ok, I'll look into that. Yahoo Small Business hosting is based on FreeBSD but they hide a lot of stuff with control panels. I'm not sure I have any space outside of the web root. Jason |
