    Okay, I read this thread:
    http://forums.postnuke.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=96&highlight=local

And that guy was having the same problem I am. Except I turned register_globals on and I'm still having the same problem.

I am trying to install 0.721 Phoenix on an XP machine to develop locally so I don't always have to FTP up to my server. Essentially, when I try to go to the install page, it sits at the language selection screen.

    Any other ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem. XP stalled on language page, globals=on. Let me know if you figure it out. I will likewise.

Alright, you have to set register_globals on On in your php.ini file (in your WINDOWS directory) and make sure to restart Apache!
