    Hi there,
I am new to PostNuke, and have tried installing 2 different versions (0723 and 0726). With both of these installations i get exactly the same problem.
Everything goes fine until i reach 60%, I fill in the correct details into the databse fields, don't click the box named _NEW_INSTALL_3 (as i have already created the database in cpanel), click Start, and on the next page i get the following message in red _MAKE_DB_3 with the button continue anyway. If i click continue anyway i get all the way to filling in the admin details, click set logging......but then i get a white screen and it just stays that way.
I have also tried clicking _NEW_INSTALL_3 then start, this time it hangs on the next screen with the following message _MAKE_DB_1 (no buttons to click).
I have already installed vwar (seperate MySQL database) with no problems at all, I have hunted high and low on the forums for a solution to this, but sp far nothing. I even found a site with a walk through http://www.nexcess.net/su...rials/cms/postnuke.php which i followed with exactly the same results.

Somebody please help me, i have no idea what to do next.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    thx in advance.

You're missing files. You shouldn't see an text like _SOMETHING_HERE those are language defines. You may find a few here and there, but on install, you shouldn't see any of that. That means files are missing, and that's probably part of where your problem lies.
