Hi,
I am installing PostNuke but I get stuck on the database section. For it I already created a database using the control panel for my webspace. But when I fill everything in during the installation it will say, Unable to make database. I do select "Create the database", after selecting "New install". Am I doing something wrong?

Yes - if you've already created the database then there is no need to select 'create the database'. So leave this unchecked. You'll be informed that the database wasn't created then the tables will be created and then populated.
In most hosted solutions the installers create the database option won't work as you have to use your control panel to create DB's. This is an option for people running thier own systems.

I left the checkbox unmarked but then on the next screen I get "No database made.Unable to make nuke_autolinks". Is this because I tried a few times and it is better to create a new database? Or has it to do with username and password from which I am sure are correct.

Yes this means the tables already exist - either empty the DB or drop the database and re-create.
