Hey folks,

I've only shelled into my server once or twice and that was with outside help.

I have set up my mysql database prior to trying installation and uploaded the files.

I can access the install ui. I'm now getting this message:

CHMOD Check


Please change permissions on config.php to 666 so this script can write and encrypt the DB data (HINT: use "chmod")

Ok, so I need to shell in I'm thinking and do these two chmods. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me instructions on what to type after i shell in before running the chmod commands.

Also, since I'm weak on syntax, could someone please tell me the EXACT lines I need to type.

ok - someone showed me i can chmod using ftp with ws_ftp pro -- awesome!!!
