I am having a similar issue. I did activate the theme but I can not preview them. When I try to use the theme in settings it just gives me a blank white screen and I have to do the old rename that theme folder trick to correct it.
See this thread http://forums.postnu…e=viewtopic&t=20136
I went through and did what you described above. The problem I am no expereincing is that I had to remove all of my themes and reinstall. It will not let me remove them and then reinitialize them so when I try to view the templatees I get this error:
Xanthia has encountered a fatal error in Zone: master
A required Zone template was either not found or failed to load.
Also when I look in the active column it reads O for all themes. This does not seem right.
I am thinking that I need to remove these theme tables from the DB but I am not sure how to locate them.
Thoughts on this? -

You don't need to remove the themes to remove Xanthia. Simply removing the module from the modules admin panel will remove all tables assoicated with the theme engine. Then try the new pninit.php I mentioned in the other thread and re-initiailse.

Ok once that was completed I noticed that my pnrender module had been inactivated. Since I know I had it active I decided it would be best to remove it and regenerate. When I tried to initialize it I got this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: pntemp_install() in /homepages/33/d87458385/htdocs/modules/pnRender/pninit.php on line 56
So I wnet to the CVS site and grabbed all of the updates and installed them. I am still getting that error.
Thank you for your understanding. -

LOL You are right. Once I loaded the file up in my PHP editor I caught the reference and have done that. It is an active module again.
However I am relatively back to where I started. When I view the tehmes that I reinstalled into the themes directory They are still present as if I had already initialized them. Active reads 0 and it lists out edit remove reload etc.
When I hit view theme i get the following message :
Xanthia has encountered a fatal error in Zone: master
A required Zone template was either not found or failed to load.
I guess I am really starting to learn. Thanks again for the help Mark. -

I've had a quick look at your site and think I see the problem. You've updated pnadmin.php from CVS but not updated the template that with it. I'd fixed an ML issue in the view function but it needed an updated template as well.
Drop that into the Xanthia templates and that should fix the problem.

Mark I saved it as an HTML file and dropped it in no I can initialize the themes. A question. Once initialized if I click on that themes view them link I just get a Blank Page. Is this correct?
