Reload Templates do nothing. I make some changes in htm files and then use "Reload Templates" link, but changes no shows.

I try (i thing) everything if settings

now have: Force Recompile of Templates ON, Force Compilation ON, Enable Caching OFF

Maybe I forgot something basic thing - dont know.

You have to explain what you're doing in more detail. How are you making "changes in htm files"? If you're doing this in the Xanthia admin web panel from the browser, then you would just be writing over your changes every time you use Reload Template, which would explain why you're seeing no changes.

You have to change the templates by editing the actual file or overwriting it by uploading it to your file server. Only then will Reload Templates work.

I set in PN PostNuke (Xanthia) template, then I edit PostNuke template htm files with Dreamweaver (I try by PN editor too). I make some realy visible :O) changes in master.htm file and other files (PN site is on my locale win server, so there is no need to upload). Then I hit Reload Templates (no visible changes). If I make changes in PostNuke (Xanthia) template theme.php file, changes appears immediately after refresh IE.

I have last version of PN and XTE

I dont know what doing wrong....

I had this problem myself, and read somewhere within this forum that you need to go to /pnTemp/Xanthia_compiled and delete every file there but index.htm. By the file name, you can tell what you need to delete, as the themename is included, if you don't want to wipe everything, but I've done this and it seemed to solve the problem for me. I think I also deleted everything within pnRender_compiled, again except index.htm, just to be safe. I believe doing this forces the Xanthia engine to recompile using your new templates.

this solved the problem for me too. But if i make another edit, it doesnt show until i delete all the stuff in that dir yet again. sigh. what is up? anyway to have it so i can edit the file in the admin panel, hit a button, and have it be updated simply?

GOD! thank god I found this thread. I was changing the master file over and over and nothing happened and I thought I was going insane. Some clear docs SURE would be nice. sigh.
