does config.php need to stay chmod 666 after install?

    Just installed PN using Fantastico and it left config.php and config-old.php both set with 666 permissions. After searching these forums I see that it was needed so stuff could be written into those files during installation.

    But does it need to stay set at 666 after installation? That seems like a security risk. I'm guessing they need to be set to 666 before upgrades and maybe certain module installations, but are they supposed to stay set at 666 all the time?

    You can change it back and PN will still work (or at least it was fine when I did it), but you will need to put it back before upgrades and if you install the XTE.
