Will the global variable $addition_headers be supported in .8?

The reason for asking is that Pagesetter/Photoshare uses this variable extensively - and I just got a report from a Pagesetter user who has been testing the .8 CVS version. According to him the header thing does not work anymore.

So is it missing by design and what should then be used instead?

This should work.... For legacy themes then the header is templated using the header footer module (the template is here). For Xanthia themes then there is the additional_header plugin (see this plugin).
