I'm trying to switch from AutoTheme to xanthia and I'm having a lot of trouble understanding how the blocks/zones and all that work...

In AutoTheme I have activemenu in an Area 1 block at the top of my page can someone walk me through on how to do this with Xanthia? I've done a lot of reading but this stuff goes over my head still lol and when I look at the admin panel I get lost... instead of using the < --- area1 ---- > type tag what would I use? And how would I set activemenu to show up in that block

My other question is I have the centerblock (ccblock.htm) that I want to only show on the homepage but not on any of the other modules... my guess was that I would go to block control and remove it from everything but it doesn't have centerblock on anything?

I might be able to understand it better if I can figure this out. I started out with the pnDefault theme and I'm modifying from that to get my theme up. Any help is appreciated

Okay so I figured that maybe Activemenu wasn't showing because I never gave the block a title under the blocks admin panel for PostNuke. So I did that and reloaded the templates and looked back at block control and Activemenu is there now... I guess that was really confusing me. I'm gonna mess with that now to see if I can get it like I had it in AutoTheme.

Ahh and my centerblocks in PostNuke I only had one block set with no title also I set one and it shows up now too in Xanthia's block control.

Ok now I'm confused on getting ActiveMenu up at the top where my Area1 block used to be. I changed the area1 tag to zuppertop and in block control I set active menu to upper top zone... In Autheme I had to make a template for my block do I do that with xanthia?

atleast I have an IDEA!

To simulate how AutoTheme worked so you can create your own block sections using the Area blocks. I should write a little guide for someone like me who is trying to switch from AutoTheme to Xanthia but I'm still unclear about some things. I'm getting there though!

Let me know if you need help with this. You can ask questions from me and I will be able to tell you what you need to do. Then we could put together another tutorial. I am not very good at writting docs and have hoped someone would step up and ask the right questions about Xanthia.

One thing I have been wanting to do is change in the Admin section a little to make the diffent navigations a little more easier to understand. Block Zones, Theme Zones, and things like this are a little confusing in the naming I used.
