How to give a password to user without emailing to him?

  • I'm using PN-0.7.2.1 Phoenix and already success in setup the portal. but my problem is how the user can go straight to "My Account" page to change their new password after registering without giving the password through email? Because the mail password to user email does not function weill....
  • In your User Admin area, you can configure the site to allow the users to define their own password.
  • You should also upgrade ASAP to the latest stable build. There have been a number of security patches released since the version your using and your site is currently vulnerable to a number of exploits. If you only just setting a site up why use this version?

  • I've upgrade to 0.726, and there's "Verify Email address in registration" function. But another problem apear. It seems cannot update the new admin setting that I made...anyone know how to solve my problem?

  • I already solve my problem. After I install PHPTriad 2.2.1, my site is OK now. Thanks for your advise...really appreciate it :D
