Error on first Admin login
 Top

  • I went through my installation with no errors, and the home page displays correctly. However, when I attempt the first login with Admin, I get the following error message:

Fatal error: call to undefined function: themeheader() in header.php on line 188

Any ideas? I'm stumped as to what's causing this.

    Thanks
  • something to do with your theme, I'm assuming its corrupt, or a component of it that only displays when logged in as admin is corrupt.

This is quite comon with dodgy themes (not this particular error, but errors of this kind). My suggestion is to reload your theme directory (for the theme you're using) if you have made any changes to it.

If you havn't installed any custom themes it will be your default theme thats stuffed, so replace the whole themes directory with the standard pnThems (i.e. PostNuke, PostNukeBlue, PostNukeSilver etc).

another thing you can try is; after you log in go to yourpostnukesite/admin.php?module=NS-Settings&op=main (enter that into your address bar). There's a chance that the part of the theme thats broken wont display on the admin page and you can change the theme from there.

    good luck
  • ..but still no luck. Same error. :(

I then tried creating a second database to run against, reinstalling, and I'm still getting the same error.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks!
  • have you installed anything else apart from the standard 'out-of-the-box' PostNuke?
