My site uses Xanthia and i'm noticing some really positive effects from the use of .750 however I don't have a high usage site from which to deal with any serious data from so I rely on data from elsewhere.

I use XDebug - a PHP profiler than can be configured to auto generate debug logs for any PHP script without modifying that script. You then have a break down of the time taken for every function execution.

Really cool but don't leave it enabled as you'll soon fill your hard disc up with logs. You will also notice that your script execution is slowed down by the profiler but once you have a baseline to compare against your working with relative figures so this isn't a problem.

With the help of Tim (thanks again) this speed issue was confined to only RC2 (and then only under loaded conditions). RC3 is much better than RC2 and is, from my testing anyway, better than .726.
