  • How I chenge the permissions ?
  • Look in your FTP client's help files for how to CHMOD.
  • If all else fails, get a Telnet client (I recommend putTY, google for it). Telnet in to your server and do it manually.

    "ls" for a directory listing.
    "cd directoryname" to change directories.
    "chmod 666 config-old.php" to chmod.
  • That's taking a big assumption that they have SSH/Telnet access. A lot of shared servers don't give that access because of people either well intentioned, but uninformed or just down right malicious casuing damage.
