  • Hi....I am a new user of PostNuke.... I upgraded to .75 today & the problem is whenever I goto admin page & click on Autolinks, Blocks, Censor, Modules, Permissions, Quotes, Ratings & Template (i.e any links which have type=admin at the end of it on the URL) I get a error saying page cannot be found.....I have uploaded all files 2 times...checked all forums. phpMyAdmin is fine & so is everything......also if I goto settings & change something then click on save changes...I get the same page saying page cannot be found....my website is www.harry-inc.com ...Please help me if possible.

    Thanx.

  • haha of course I remember you ;) .. Hi Harry.

..well that would make sense why the API mods won't link.. your index.php file is in the root directory correct? Did that file get replaced in the upgrade..? can you compare them to make sure.

..something's not right with the index.php file.

..did you notice that it's looking in 2 different directories for index.php?

  • The index.php is in root directory and it did get replaced when i upgraded....I did not back it up tho....what do i compare it with? Yes I notice that there r 2 diff directories...thts cos I did a fresh installataion of new PostNuke in a dir called harry on my server later.....but the prob is on both of em.
  • ..compare it to the index.php from the .750 package..

it takes you to: https://www.harry-inc.com/error_docs/not_found.html ?

..why is it redirecting you with SSL? ... hmm..

  • ATLASTTTTTTTTTTTTTT I resolved it my self......what my admin.php was doing was taking me to https://www.harry-inc.com/index.php?module=Blocks&type=admin rather than http://www.harry-inc.com/index.php?module=Blocks&type=admin (notice the https in the 1st link) to resolve this I went to /includes/pnAPI.php .....the 1093rd line where it says $proto = 'https://'; changed it to http & issue was resolved....dunno if this will affect anything but as of now everythings workin perfect.......this is a serious error and will affect ppl who have a httpsdocs directory on their server....Thanx

    Peace!!!
