I have removed the users.php file from the includes/search directory on my PN 0.750 site and it has disabled the abilitiy to search for site members. However, what it does not do is prevent the search function from returning site items that were submitted by particular users (i.e. a search of "admin" returned a web link that was created by the "admin" user).
Is it possible to disable this ability? If so, how?

..it's possible, but not easily describable (is that even a word?).. if you're not familiar with PHP it would not be an easy task..

I'm in the information security field and due to a number of situation specific privacy related concerns, excluding user names from all search types is a highly desirable feature. I'm not a programmer. How difficult is it to hack the code or create a flag that can disable this feature when desired by the admin?
