Zikula Community

Would anyone be able to direct me to a feed that pulls the latest virus updates, latest Microsoft news, and latest ? My plan was to use the ones from sophos, trend, symantec, and mcafee but I can't either of them to work. The XML is 1.0 and from what I've read PN 726 won't take it. Has anyone even considered working on a module that would allow you to integrate 1.0 feeds into PN 726 or do we have to settle for what's available?

I searched sndic8.com but didn't find anything I was looking for. I also ran across the Yahoo and Feedroll feeds. Anyone know of any others?

You can use the Magpie RSS parser (http://magpierss.sourceforge.net/) to create your own block/module displaying the feeds you want to see. Magpie is very simple to use, and supports a broad range of RSS dialects.

This hasn't turned out to be as simple as I hoped. There's simply too much that needs reading to gather an indepth understanding of how to make this work. What I'm looking for is something similar to what's done here:

where you have the top virus alerts listed in the block. This one in particular is from Trend, but I also like the one from sophos. They provide the code and everytime I add it to an HTML block I get raw code displayed all across the screen. This is after I've enabled all tags with parameters.
Therefore I'm hoping someone here can tip me on how to do this.
