Web Link Issue

  • Install went smoothly - I'm impressed!

I have one problem and one question:

First the problem: I can't add a web link. When I click the 'add new' link, I don't get the form. The URL changes - so I know the page reloaded. The page looks exactly the same as when I first click the 'Web Links' menu item. There are 2 categories set up (this worked yesterday!) with 1 link. When I click on a category - same thing - URL changes but page doesn't change? Strange!

Now the question: I didn't see where a user can upload a file. I want to use the download section for users to upload and others to download from the uploaded files. Is there a module for this?

    Thanks in advance

  • Bumping up... Still looking for some help. Thanks.
  • Downgraded from 750RC2 to the official release and it is now working.

I did not edit any of the PHP files at all so I'm not sure what happened.

Still looking for a way to let users upload files......

    Thanks
  • There is no upload functionality built into PostNuke by default. You'll need to find a third-party module to suit your needs. My two recommendations are UpDownload (easy set up, medium functionality) and NukeOwl (complex setup, high functionality, though slightly buggy and no longer being supported/developed)
