    I almost got thtough the whole install until I get to this part

    If I tick box to create database I get the message
    Unable to create database

    the message I get when I dont tick the box to create DB

    No database made.Error connecting to DB
    Program: /home/lakewinn/public_html/install/db.php - Line N.: 45
    Database: lakewinn
    Error (1045) : Access denied for user: 'paul@localhost' (Using password: YES)

    Well, the database needs to exist. The error you're gettin gis indicating that either the username, database name, database server or password is wrong. Check with your web host as to what info should be put in there.

    Unless you have root access to the database, and your using the root user, which isn't recomended even if it is possible, you can't create the database with the install script.
