Where can I reduce the number of news on the News index?

Administration --> Settings --> "Stories # on homepage"...Can be set to 5, 10, 15, 20, 30...And oddly enough, 30. Never noticed that before. LoL -

However this will only change it for the Anonymous and any new users after you make that change, and users can over-ride that number. -

How do you change it to less then 5? I went into the NS-Settings and changed the numbers in admin.php but I can't reduce it to less then 5? Is it in the database somewhere?

It should be in the Database, probably a Mod Variable in that table.
