Way to tell?
 Top

  • Is there a way to tell what version of PostNuke my site is running? I'm trying to upgrade an old site I did about 1.5 years ago, and I can't figure out what version it is for the upgrade!

    Any easy/slick ways to tell?

    Thanks in advance,

  • check either the statspage

    Code

    modules.php?op=modload&name=Stats&file=index
    or the HTML source of the site

    Code

    <meta name="generator" content="PostNuke 0.7.5.0-RC3-Phoenix - http://www.post-nuke.net" >

  • Awesome!
    PostNuke 0.7.2.3-Phoenix ! Thanks a ton!

    Now, for my upgrade... is this considered a 'stable' release?

  • Depends, are you talking about 726-3 or 750RC2?
  • Well, I'm not sure. Being 7.2.3 it's probably got a few bugs that could be cleared up by now, so just something newer. 750RC2 (Release Candidate 2) - is that not stable yet? Would it be worth holding off for now until t here's a final 750?

  • i'd suggest to update to .726-3 ASAP since there are various security related issues in .723 and prior. if you run a quick forum search you'll find a couple of installation hints (basically it's a copy-and-go...)
