Is there a way to disable the private message feature within post nuke?

Sure, remove the module in the Modules admin area, and remove it from the menu.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Any idea how to set the permissions on the links so that they display but you cannot access the content behind the link if your not a registered member of the site?

what i should set the command lines to?

I disabled and removed the modual for the private messages in post nuke like you said but it still shows the private message icons and lets you fill out a message, send the message and shows that it was sent.

But there is no way to retreive the messages.

My problem and question is "How do i go about getting those icons to NOT display as if there is and never was a way to send private message through post nuke?
