Tons of info here and there seems to be some great help available. God, I hope you can help this old newb.

I have installed 750-RC2 and it runs ok. The problem is that I dont know how to get my domain to see it.

When I click on www.win-bytes.com it takes me to my construction page. I had uploaded my uncompressed folder (called PN) to my htdoc folder on the server. I then ran the install to mysql. That was all fine but now I have to get it to be seen when I go to the website. I have tried deleting the index.htm for the construction page but it wont see the PostNuke frontpage. So I put the index.htm file back and put a link to the PostNuke site and via this I can access my new frontpage without a problem.

Any thoughts anyone on how to fix this small issue?

Oh, BTW here is the link to the new site so that you can see the crap that comes after .com (http://win-bytes.com…-RC2/html/index.php)

Also after you have moved it all to the /htdoc foulder you will want to delete or rename your index.htm or index.html "construction page" that is there now or it will still show that page as most severs read index.htm/index.html files first before index.php files.

The next thing I would like to do is put PHphpBB2 on the site. What is the best version to get and am I correct in assuming that I move the whole folder of it from my harddrive to MODULES and then initiate it from the administration panel? Or do I just move the file structure from the PNphpBB2 folder on my harddrive to MODULES and initiate then?

PNphpBB2 1.2e is the one you will want to use, it comes with some very good docs and HTML files that cover the whole install and use of it. But yes after you D/L and unzip it upload it to your Modules then goto Admin/modules and click Regenerate then find PNphpBB2 in the list and then Initialise it, find it again and Activate it and your forum should be up and running 8)
