After following instrux on the docs religiously, I'm getting repeated and unfixable error messages while running the upgrade script.

Not entirely sure which version I'm at, but:

Upon pressing the .7 upgrade button I get "unable to update nuke_hooks" and upon pressing the .71 upgrade button I get "unable to update nuke_banner"

Please tell me it's something simple and I'm merely an idiot.

Okay, not completely religiously - I set the default theme to PostNukeSilver rather than ExtraLite.

I'd be grateful for any help you good people can offer!

Ignore the ravings of the previous two posters in this topic. They're complete idiots. I contacted them privately and told them to RTFM - they did so, and when that and about three more hours of hair-tearing fun failed as well, they dug down another few layers in the forums (into the Mesozoic, I'm guessing) and eventually pulled together the threads of a fix. Back on line. Since nobody replied to this "crisis" I hope that means I amused rather than wasted anyone's time.
