Problem starting install of PostNuke
 Top

  • First off here is my information:
I am using www.startlogic.com for my host.
    mysql Ver 12.22 Distrib 4.0.18
    PHP 4.3.4
    PostNuke-0.726-3

I went ahead and created the database and user. Then i ftp transfered all the files from the PostNuke HTML folder to my public_html folder. When I try to open install.php i get these errors:

Warning: main(includes/pnAPI.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/starbuck/public_html/index.php on line 31

Warning: main(): Failed opening 'includes/pnAPI.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/starbuck/public_html/index.php on line 31

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: pninit() in /home/starbuck/public_html/index.php on line 34

Any and all help would be appreciated, thanks.
  • We need a phpinfo report. Just create a file, call it phpinfo.php and put the following in it..

    Code

    <?php phpinfo(); ?>

And upload it to the same place your index.html is located. Odds are it's a poorly configured server.
  • I'm still waiting on the domain name to be setup, but you can access phpinfo here: http://st13.startlogic.com/~starbuck/phpinfo.php
    Thanks
  • Page not found.
  • Sorry about that, you can try it now, i think i accidentally deleted it while re-trying to install PostNuke.

  • Keshek, were you able to get this sorted out? (I was planning on using startlogic for my site, but if there's a problem...)

  • I am definitely a newbie, so please bear with my ignorance and non-techiness.

I have uploaded PostNuke to my server (through hostway), and have created my database.

I went to install and get "file not found" even though I was just there with rbrowserlite and know that the file is there. Help!

    :?

Update: just got back my trouble ticket from my hosting company, and PHP wasn't installed on my server. Now it is, and I'm having another problem...

Hmmm... back to search the boards...
