Anyway to my question. My question is, how can i get rid of the crap sponsor on the top and the crap stuff on the bottom? It got installed with apache2extreme. (it installed like everythign PostNuke, phpnuke phpbb2, etc) Everything has the same banners. and it looks ilke its requesting from a website. What should i do?
Oh yeah is there a way to make it so people can choose there own password?

Are you using something called "Galacnetworks" as your host? If so, I would bet that you aren't paying for your site to be hosted as those "crap sponsor" ads on the top and bottom are placed there by your host to subsidize the cost of hosting your site for you. If you can't live with the ads, you need to find a paid host. The ASCII mess in the middle of the page is a different story though.
There are mods that allows users to choose their own passwords. Search for pncUserHack or XUser. -

You don't need a mod/hack to allow the user to choose their own password thou, that part of those modules was added to the core either in .726 or maybe 723. Just go in to the User Admin, it's in one of the sub pages of that admin area, why that particular module is set up like it is, I don't know, but it's there. -

Well....it isn't hosted by Galacnetworks. But the apache2extreme mod which installed Post-nuke and all the MYSQL configs i think is. Arg. So i should probably just delete everything...and try installing PN manually? -

Yep, it's really not that hard. PHP and MySQL should already be configured by the host so don't worry about that. As always, if you have any problems search the forums for the answer and if you don't find anything, keep asking here. -

Well, i am the host... lol. Well might as well try to set this up myself...before i actually start modding stuff.
Oh yeah. How do you make like the banner havea a link. Like on post nukes site you can clik on the buttons on the top. What if i just want text on the top. Also what if i want another page but a custom page of like regular HTML?
