I had issues after a fresh install of the gold release. Many of the bugs were already posted in the forums and I found a couple more like the inability to delete admin messages. After digging a little, I decided to turn on support for legacy modules under settings, this cleared up all my issues so far. This should help move on to more fun things until we see a patch.
