HTML will not parse, shows up as text,
 Top

  • Hi

    The HTML tags that I enter are not being parsed they just show up as part of the text;

    <font color="mediumblue">This site has been created to help address the challenges and struggles faced by today's Christian Man. This site will feature monthly testimonies on various topics by other men who have struggled and overcome various challenges that many men face today.

    This site mygodcares.org will have the helpful insight and guidance of other writers, some who are in full time ministry, who will encourage us with solid Bible based direction.

    I have HTML option turned on.. I looked thru FAQ and have not found an answer.

    I would appreciate some help.. if possible.

    Thanks
    Mel
  • if you are using parameters (e.g. 'color=mediumblue') make sure that you enabled the paramter for this tag in administration-settings

  • Thanks.. well I enabled that parameter and when I hit save; I got this message;

    What does this mean?

    Then a minute or so later I get an e-mail with this header info;
    On Jun 14, 2004 at 01:32 AM the PostNuke code has detected that somebody tried to send information to your site that may have been intended as a hack. Do not panic, it may be harmless: maybe this detection was triggered by something you did! Anyway, it was detected and blocked.
    The suspicious activity was recognized in /usr/local/4admin/apache/vhosts/mygodcares.org/httpdocs/nuke/html/includes/pnAPI.php on line 1248, and is of the type pnSecurity Alert.
    Additional information given by the code which detected this: Intrusion detection.

    Below you will find a lot of information obtained about this attempt, that may help you to find what happened and maybe who did it.

    Then a lot of details are shown in the -email

    Is this a permissions issue?

    Thanks for any help
