 Top

  • I am recieving this e-mails every day .
Attention site admin of Site Name,
On Jun 16, 2004 at 12:00 PM the PostNuke code has
detected that somebody tried to send information
to your site that may have been intended as a
hack. Do not panic, it may be harmless: maybe this
detection was triggered by something you did!
Anyway, it was detected and blocked.
The suspicious activity was recognized in
    /home/wwwuser/public_html/postnuke/includes/pnAPI.php
on line 1384, and is of the type pnSecurity Alert.

Additional information given by the code which
    detected this: Intrusion detection.

Below you will find a lot of information obtained
about this attempt, that may help you to find
what happened and maybe who did it.

  • yes there is more info,
so how can I know where the error?
  • This is being caused by the pnAnticracker. It sends warning emails when certain things happen with the script of your site. To ingore these, simply turn off the pnAnticracker in your admin settings. Note that any legitimate attacks will not be noticed though. If you aren't afraid of attacks, I recommend turning it off.
  • I have got this same problem. It gives me an average of 300 emails a day, a total average of over 6000. I'd take what Spire2000 said, but I am worried about hackers (even though I don't get much traffic). Some of the emails don't even have any debug info. And others are because someone tried to submit a review.

I'm using version .750 RC3, so is this why I'm getting a lot?
