n00b with installation problems

    when i try to install, i get these errors:

    Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Access denied for user: 'chris207@supremeserver13.com' (Using password: YES) in /home/www/tutorialguru.com/html/install/newinstall.php on line 37

    Warning: mysql_query(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) in /home/www/tutorialguru.com/html/install/newinstall.php on line 38

    Warning: mysql_query(): A link to the server could not be established in /home/www/tutorialguru.com/html/install/newinstall.php on line 38
    Unable to make database

    i know it has something to do with connecting to the database, but i don't know what i'm doing, so i would like some help, plz!
