Core/PHP Script Blocks...?

  • I am a newbie at PostNuke, so if this is a stupid question I'm sorry.

    I tried to add a block to my PostNuke site and it was a Core/PHP Block. The script was very simple:



    Why do I get the following error:

    Parse error: parse error, unexpected '<' in /var/www/html/mysite/cms/html/includes/blocks/php.php(55) : eval()'d code on line 1

    Basically I can not get a PHP script to work on PostNuke using a Core/PHP Script block, no matter what the complexity. BTW I downloaded the most recent version a day ago and installed it. Am I using the CMS Block incorrectly?
