I am a newbie to PostNuke. I find it incredible and am in hopes of using it for a online newspaper project I am working on.

However, I can't seem to install the system. I start the whole installation process and it won't create the database for me. I've even installed the database myself and it still doesn't work. Any advice?

I ran into the same problem and found out I was using the wrong name for the database. Check your database name, username and passwords.
