Can I administer the site from any computer?
 Top

  • Hello everyone.

I just installed Post Nuke on my site. Configured everything, blah blah blah. Without to much of a hassle.

Well, I changed my name and password through the administration page at admin.php. Now I can't access the administration Modules section from another computer! Although I was able to log in and administer the site with the changed name and password last night on another computer.

Is there a setting that only allows certain IP's to access the administrative section in PostNuke?

And is there a way to change that so I can administer the site from anywhere?
  • Wierd. I tried to log-in with firefox and seemed to work OK.

Anyone else come accross this problem?

  • Is it just me, or is it that anything related to Microsoft are the biggest pieces of ****?

or is it that PostNuke, being Unix based (I believe) just doesn't support microsoft?
  • Probably a problem with your cookies
  • Thats was my first quess too. but I was sure to delete all of them before I tried it again.
