    Ok I host with Godaddy and Postnuke is one of the free programs that come with hosting so I thought I would give it a whirl and see what it does.

    Well I am so lost it isn't funny. Im the newbiest of the newbs and I dont know what to do with postnuke.

    Is there a manual on the net somewhere? this looks like a good tool but not well documented. Unless I'm missing something here.

    Well, just look to the left and click on pnDocs and that'll get you to some documentation.

    There's a book available and a search on Amazon will get you the title.

    There's a lot of other documentation out there, as well as simply reading a lot here and Google will help you find those.

    Ok I do have a specific question. Can you build a website from the ground up with postnuke. Or is this program just for fine tuning a website?

    yes, you can build a site from scratch. It will help greatly if you have some HTML under your belt. The way to customize your site within PN is by using a "theme." Each theme resides in it's own directory, and can be changed on the fly by you or your users. So, if enabled, I could see a different theme than you see when logging in. Get into the habit of hanging out here, you will find a wealth of information, and great teachers!

    Ok thats what I wanted to hear :)

    I am proficient in HTML so thats not a problem.

    Guess I'll have to get the postnuke book from amazon and get learning :)
