Hi,
I have installed and tried PostNuke as a base configuration under "postnuke1" directory. Then, I copied all the files to another directory say postnuke2. But, when I make some changes in the original PostNuke configuration (i.e. change theme in postnuke1) the new PostNuke under postnuke2 directory is also effected. Vice versa is also true.
I couldn't see that PostNuke creates another directory at the same level or so during installation (like Moodle does moodledata). So, I am really confused.
Should I make a clean install from the beginning to install it under another directory?
Could anybody explain what is really happening?
Thanks...

If you want two separate installations of PN you will have to create two databases as well. It sounds like both "directories" use the same database so any change in postnuke1 is reflected in postnuke2.
So yes, you need to make a clean install that creates another database.
