i installed a few modules to test them out (NS-Merchandise, PNRandom_stuff_se) and evrything seems okay, but they are not showing up in the adminstration menu..

i added the block for mercahndise, and it does now appear on the main page.. but i cannot populate it or anything becuase it won't show up on the admin page...

i think i may be seeing some of the dissappearing module after upgrading problem, too.. but i will look into that ..

the merchandise block is more important at this point..

Ok a screen shot would be helpful but you could add it to the block administration page via mySQL.

To do this go into your mySQL DB administrator (phpMyAdmin or whatever you have) and go to the xxxx_blocks table. ( xxxx being whatever prefix you put it as. ) The click browse ( or whatever you need to click to browse that table) and then add a new line with the information for that block.

i tried doing this, but there is already a valid block in the database for that the required block.. i did not do anything to the existing block..

Hmmm this is quiet odd. In the database does it have the 1 under activated? Maybe PostNuke thinks its not activated and it really is.

yes. pn_activate = 1...
