Hi i have posted my issue here: http://community.postnuke.com/module-Forum-viewtopic-topic-51931.htm
and found this post. AmmoDump. your link (http://pnSetup.com) leads to a very useless searchpage and a load of pop-ups. that does not help to much.
I wonder if i would upgrade to .763 if that could solve my problem. Or does it only get worst?
Thanx for helping out
George

Solution: Finally!
The roots of the problem was the Thai language pack. After regenerating the modules somehow the NS- folders, auto-created by installing the new language pack, got mixed up with the actual modules folders in the database.
Goto phpMyAdmin and
1. Rename all folders in the modules table from e.g. NS-Admin to Admin
2. Change pn_state from 5 (uninizialized) to 3 (activ) on those directories
3. Change the pn_type on those folders as well if required.
That should do it. Maybe that helps the next poor guy.
Now , how about that language pack? It happens every time when i add a new module and regenerate the modules. There is no newer version of the Thai languge pack. .075

Hmmm - I'm getting this same problem, and am ALSO not running MySQL 5. A LONG time PostNuke user, I've been dreading this upgrade - but finally decided to bite the bullet. After half a dozen attempts to upgrade, to no avail (Smarty errors) - I decided to see if I could just get a fresh install up and running, there by testing all the prerequisites, etc.
Here's the requested version information above.
MySQL: 4.1.22-standard
PHP Version 4.4.4
PHP flags set in .htaccess:
php_flag magic_quotes_gpc On
php_flag register_globals Off
File permissions checks pass
Database deleted and re-created (in phpMyAdmin) the database, checked privs - everything looks fine.
Any thoughts? Any additional details I can provide? The problem occurs after the first set of tables are created, I provide the details for the initial admin user, and then:
Uploaded Data
pn_headlines updated.
pn_module_vars updated.
pn_users updated.
pn_groups updated.
pn_modules updated.
pn_user_property updated.
pn_admin_category updated.
pn_admin_modules updated.
pn_users updated.
pn_group_membership updated.
Settings successfully installed
pnRender successfully installed
Xanthia successfully installed
Error: Admin_Messages not initialised
Thanks for ANY ideas or suggestions - I'm at a total loss.
Have a great weekend,
Billy -

Have you tried re-uploading the Admin_Messages module? could be simple file corruption.

I installed PNuke and I messed up,I tried to run a theme that needed Auto themes and now I can't get to my page at all!
Can I uninstall PostNuke and then reinstall it?
Or will that cause me more problems?
