Installation, Configuration, & Upgrades  ::
New install problem, PN
 Top

  • Having problems with a new install on a new site.
    install.php,
    lets me: set language,accept license,CHMODE checks o.k., at database it kicks me in reverse back to the begining "set language".
    Now in reading help manuals and such, it appears that i have set a SQL database with my host. although it may not be correct. eventhough, the installation states that i can leave settings to default. quote taken from the installation guide, "Follow the instructions in the installation script and, when prompted to choose between either a new installation or an upgrade, select 'new install'. The installer will create the required database tables and prompt you to enter the user name and password for the site administrator's account. Once you have completed the installation process, you should be able to start using your PostNuke site immediately".
    But at any rate the installation process reverts me back to the begining no matter what. "Help" icon_rolleyes

  • Never seen this before, my first guess would be a cookie issue, try using a different browser. And report back.
